The EU produced 3.44 billion litres of ice cream in 2025, according to Eurostat. This was 1.9% above the previous year’s 3.38 billion litres.
Germany led production at 608 million litres, followed by Italy at 549 million and France at 525 million. Production is measured in litres; it is not the same unit as kilograms in export statistics and cannot be added directly to them.
Investment commitments reported at end-June were 141 percent higher than in 2021. Oman also outlined port cargo, refinery capacity and dry-dock activity.
The platform will focus on the Qatar Investment Authority’s local portfolio. The government also outlined five-year expectations for US$38.5 billion in infrastructure projects and US$22.5 billion in private investment.
