Final Eurostat structural business data for 2024 show approximately 34 million enterprises employing 164.5 million people. Net turnover exceeded €38.7 trillion, while value added reached €10.9 trillion.
Micro and small enterprises accounted for 99% of enterprises, 48% of employment and 35% of value added. The scope covers market producers; it is not total GDP for the entire economy including public administration.
Investment commitments reported at end-June were 141 percent higher than in 2021. Oman also outlined port cargo, refinery capacity and dry-dock activity.
The platform will focus on the Qatar Investment Authority’s local portfolio. The government also outlined five-year expectations for US$38.5 billion in infrastructure projects and US$22.5 billion in private investment.
