Oman economy grows 5.1% in the second quarter of 2026

Oman's real gross domestic product at constant prices rose 5.1% year on year in the second quarter of 2026 to approximately OMR 9.9 billion. Citing National Centre for Statistics and Information data, Qatar News Agency reported growth of 14.7% in petroleum activities and 0.7% in non-petroleum activities.

Kushk–Tirpul contract sets $200m initial investment for seven gas blocks
