Google also says BigQuery now supports Iceberg V3 features, including row-level deletion vectors and sort orders. Private Cross-Cloud Interconnect links to AWS and Azure are offered at 10 or 100 Gbps; caching can serve repeat reads from within Google Cloud.

Together, these capabilities are intended to support cross-cloud analytics and agent access over open Iceberg tables. Petabyte-scale reasoning and performance comparable to local storage are Google’s architecture claims; the post does not provide an independent performance test of the new integration.
