Statistics Denmark’s farm accounts released on October 12 show the average operating result for full-time organic farms rose from DKK 0.8 million in 2024 to DKK 2.7 million in 2025. Results at organic dairy-cattle farms increased from DKK 1.3 million to DKK 4.4 million, while organic crop farms moved from a DKK 0.8 million loss to a DKK 0.9 million gain.

The agency said higher prices for organic products contributed to some gains, while increased gross output and lower costs helped crop farms. The sample-based statistics cover farms with standard output of at least EUR 25,000. Operating result also remunerates the owner’s work and invested capital, so it is not equivalent to net household income.
