ANP completes fuel-data agreement with 22 states and the Federal District

According to Click Petróleo e Gás’s 10 October report, which cites ANP’s 9 October release, signature collection for ACT 17/2026 between ANP and finance authorities in 22 states and the Federal District was completed on 7 October. The ten-year agreement allows access to electronic tax documents for regulated fuel-market participants that authorize it.
The agreement is the first of three fronts for ANP’s PISTA fuel-supply oversight platform. ANP expects to open public consultation on a draft rule in November 2026 and publish the rule by March 2027. Systems for receiving and processing the data are also being developed; the agreement alone does not require companies to authorize access. São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina and Amazonas are absent from the signatory list.
