ServiceNow announced on October 15 that EmployeeWorks would let employees build and customize AI agents without code. Productivity Assistants support role-specific work, while Productivity Routines can run repeatable tasks in the background.

ToolSmith builds tools for EmployeeWorks assistants from natural-language descriptions; a Conversations API brings them into internal applications. ServiceNow said the features were in controlled availability.
