Five studies on economic and development priorities are scheduled for discussion at the 12th Riyadh Economic Forum. The Saudi Press Agency reported on October 11 that one study examines wider use of smart agriculture technologies, including artificial intelligence, to support food and water security in the Kingdom.

The forum is due to open on October 12 and bring together public- and private-sector officials, experts and researchers. SPA did not announce findings or an adopted policy from the smart-agriculture study; it described the subject as one of the research items on the forum agenda.
