Source not verified: RFM’s report of 10 October 2026 relayed estimates from ACP and Contas-Poupança that, from 12 October, mainland Portugal’s pump price for road diesel could fall by EUR 0.01 per litre while petrol could rise by EUR 0.05. These were expectations for the week of 12–18 October, not observed pump prices.
The 9 October ACP and Contas-Poupança reports were also read and gave the same direction and amounts. Their raw market inputs were not independently recalculated; possible tax adjustments and the market close were still uncertain at the time. Fuel prices are set by individual operators and may vary between stations, so the forecast was not a guarantee.
