Enilive announces Italian petrol and diesel price caps

The initial 30-day measure starts on September 28.

Eni announced September 25 caps of €2.19 per litre for diesel and €1.99 for petrol marketed by Enilive in Italy. The announced initial period is 30 days from September 28.

The company links the measure to existing excise tax relief. Extension through year-end depends on market and supply conditions. These are Enilive’s announced limits rather than prices applying to every Italian seller or a live pump-price quote.
