Source not verified: Citing MIMIT’s fuel-price observatory, ANSA reported that on 10 October 2026 self-service petrol averaged EUR 2.035 per litre and diesel EUR 2.252 on Italy’s national road network. MIMIT’s page updated that day confirms the daily publication and regional averages, but the national averages and motorway values in ANSA were not independently checked against a primary national table here.
