Dutch manufacturing output prices rose 6.8% in August
CBS reported faster annual growth, with a larger increase for petroleum products

Prices of products manufactured in the Netherlands were 6.8% higher in August 2026 than a year earlier. Statistics Netherlands (CBS) had reported a 5.1% annual increase for July. Output prices also rose 1.1% from July to August.
The average crude-oil barrel price reached nearly €76 in August, up 31% year on year. Producer prices for petroleum products rose 59.7% and for chemicals 14.1%; these are manufacturers’ output prices, not consumer inflation.
