Lavras Gold outlines 10-kilometre gold-in-soil corridor in Brazil
An independent geochemical reinterpretation outlined a new exploration target connecting gold-in-soil anomalies at the company’s project in Rio Grande do Sul.

On 13 October, Lavras Gold said an independent interpretation combining historical and current soil geochemistry, drill-core multi-element assays, whole-rock geochemistry and airborne geophysics outlined an approximately 10-kilometre gold-in-soil corridor across the project. It links the Fazenda-Butia, Caneleira and Cerrito North targets in Rio Grande do Sul.
Cerrito North is a soil-geochemistry target with no drill-assay results and no estimated mineral resource. The company said the data for that area still require recalibration. The interpreted corridor is conceptual; geochemical anomalies are exploration indicators and do not demonstrate economic mineralization or a deposit.

Methodology
The corridor is a conceptual interpretation of soil and drill data, not an assay result or resource estimate for Cerrito North. The source says the Cerrito North dataset requires recalibration.
