ProAm stakes more ground along New Brunswick’s Golden Ridge corridor

ProAm Explorations said on October 22 that it had staked an additional claim at its Golden Ridge gold project in western New Brunswick. Claim 12691 covers 1,077 hectares contiguous with the existing project. The company says the expanded land position now spans more than 13 kilometres along a prospective structural corridor associated with the regional Woodstock Fault. The corridor is described as untested; staking adds ground to an exploration position but does not establish gold mineralization there.
The new claim extends ProAm’s coverage into the Belle Lake area and a historical claim group referred to as Kirkland. The company says the land includes previously interpreted geophysical anomalies that have not been tested. It frames the expansion as a search for additional gold-bearing centres beyond known mineralization at Poplar Mountain, a separate occurrence on the Golden Ridge project. The release does not report new assays from the newly staked claim.
ProAm’s target model draws on a 2023 peer-reviewed study by University of New Brunswick and New Brunswick Geological Survey researchers. As summarized by the company, the study proposed at least four mineralizing-fluid pulses at Poplar Mountain, with later stages relatively enriched in gold, and interpreted a deep-seated intrusion as a possible source of fluids. The model involves fluid circulation and mixing through brittle rocks along the Woodstock Fault. It is a geological hypothesis used to guide exploration, not evidence that each structure or claim contains gold.
The company points to historical work from 1999 on the Kirkland claim group. That work described an approximately 300-by-100-metre area of sericite-carbonate alteration, numerous quartz veins and disseminated pyrite in mafic volcanic rocks along a possible splay of the Woodstock Fault. Six rock samples from the soil-geochemical and alteration anomaly were classified as silicic dacite or rhyolite. ProAm notes that dacite is the brittle host rock at Poplar Mountain and says the alteration looks similar. The comparison guides a testable target concept; no new assay or confirmed gold occurrence is reported for Kirkland.
Historical geophysical interpretation provides another line of targeting. The release cites an Aerodat airborne interpretation from 1997 that outlined magnetic anomalies and cross-cutting structures. Earlier work at Poplar Mountain identified north-northwest and east-west faults that ProAm interprets as subsidiary structures. The company also says fault intersections and topographic highs may help identify intrusive centres. Mineralized rocks are reported at a high on Poplar Mountain, while the Belle Lake magnetic target is described as fault-bounded and associated with a topographic high. ProAm explicitly says mineralized bedrock on the Belle Lake high has not been confirmed.
The company’s planned Phase 1 work, previously outlined in September, combines high-resolution magnetic and radiometric surveys, LiDAR, orthophotography, three-dimensional geological modelling and targeted fieldwork. ProAm also says it is reviewing selected historical drill core at the New Brunswick government’s core-storage facility to reassess assayed intervals under the newer structural and trace-element interpretations. Results from the province’s June 2026 regional airborne survey are expected to be integrated with historical drilling, mapping and geochemistry.
ProAm says that combined work is intended to refine targets beyond the existing drill footprint, examine under-tested west-northwest-trending structures and evaluate deeper opportunities. Its stated objective is to compile a ranked inventory of drill-ready targets by the end of 2026, which could provide a basis for a winter 2026–27 drill program. The company says program scope and timing remain subject to financing and required permits, so the winter drilling is a conditional plan rather than scheduled or completed work.
ProAm is advancing Golden Ridge under an option to acquire a 100% interest; the October release says it holds that option, not that the acquisition has closed. The scientific and technical content was reviewed by Fred Tejada, P.Geo., as qualified person. The measurements in the data block describe the claim area, interpreted corridor and historical alteration-zone dimensions. None is a mineral resource, reserve, assay result or measure of continuous gold mineralization.

Methodology
The 1,077-hectare value is the area reported for newly staked claim 12691. The corridor is described as more than 13 km and untested. Kirkland alteration dimensions are approximate historical observations from 1999, not assay intervals or evidence of gold grade. Planned drilling remains conditional on financing and permits.
