Eurostat: 52.7% of EU enterprises used paid cloud services

In Eurostat’s 2025 survey, 52.7% of EU enterprises reported paid cloud use, up 7.4 percentage points from 2023.

Email was the most common use: 85.2% of cloud-using enterprises obtained it through paid cloud services. Office software accounted for 71.7%, and file storage 71.5%.

The survey covers enterprises with at least 10 employees or self-employed persons; smaller firms are outside its scope. The rates describe paid cloud use, not total IT spending.
