EU oil supply remains stable as diesel and jet fuel face price pressure

The Commission’s 29 September assessment distinguishes supply conditions from pricing pressure.

Following the Oil Coordination Group meeting, the Commission said EU supply was stable at that time, while diesel and jet fuel prices reflected tight global markets. European refineries were operating near maximum capacity.

Amsterdam–Rotterdam–Antwerp commercial stocks were below their five-year average, while emergency stocks remained high. Monitoring will continue; the statement does not guarantee the absence of future disruption.
