Afghanistan’s Mines and Petroleum Ministry met crude-oil refinery managers on September 30 to discuss operating conditions, refining processes and facility development.

The ministry called for improved fuel quality and technical and environmental compliance. Managers outlined capacities and operating challenges. No specific new refinery investment value or construction award is disclosed.
