Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) said on 2 October that it received more than 1,800 applications from Emirati job seekers at Ru’ya Careers UAE. The company invited more than 300 candidates to upcoming open-day interviews, with successful applicants expected to start work before the end of 2026.

Most applicants were interested in EGA’s National Training and Graduate Training programmes, which prepare school leavers and university graduates for permanent operations and corporate roles. EGA said it had hired 110 UAE nationals so far in 2026, including 51 women. Application and invitation totals describe stages of recruitment, not confirmed hires.
