Brazil’s National Agency for Technical Assistance and Rural Extension (Anater) opened applications on October 9 for its Coopera Rio+Doce public selection call. Associations and cooperatives in family farming may submit joint projects intended to strengthen agro-industry and cooperative markets in the Rio Doce basin.

The call covers 49 municipalities in Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo and sets out nine lots for collaborative proposals. Selected projects may run for up to 36 months, and applications are due by November 18. These are the call’s scope and conditions; they do not mean projects have been selected or investments completed.
