Brazil’s National Supply Company (Conab) said family farmers growing beans in Rio Grande do Sul can receive a 0.16% bonus discount on Pronaf financing instalments in October. The updated PGPAF list covers 14 products and is valid from 10 October through 9 November.

Conab calculated the bonuses using September prices. The programme adjusts producer financing payments when market prices for covered products fall below a guaranteed reference. The bean bonus applies to production in Rio Grande do Sul; rates for several other products also vary by state, so the list does not mean all farmers receive the same discount.
