Bathurst Metals said on October 1 that it had agreed to assign its option to acquire the Peerless property in British Columbia to Big Bear Gold. The stated consideration is 3,555,000 Big Bear shares.

Closing depends on Big Bear completing due diligence within 90 days and receiving TSX Venture Exchange approval. Bathurst said it cancelled a planned financing for Peerless and will refocus on its Turner Lake project in Nunavut.
