Independence Gold said on September 29 that it had proposed a non-brokered equity financing of up to $6 million. Flow-through shares and units are each priced at $0.16, with a combined maximum issuance of 37.5 million securities.

Proceeds from the flow-through shares are intended for eligible Canadian exploration spending on ongoing fieldwork and a planned 10,000-metre drill program at 3Ts. The company expected closing by October 23, subject to exchange and other regulatory approvals; the financing was not completed.
