Veolia ranks first in Barcelona drinking-water tender

Veolia’s September announcement says its bid ranked first for drinking-water services around Barcelona. The approximately €1 billion, 25-year tender covers eight municipalities and more than 230,000 residents.

The release places the proposed ranking before the final award. Planned services include leak detection, remote metering and digital operations. The value represents the tender, rather than annual revenue or a confirmed investment outlay.
