UNFCCC’s 7 September review says about 1,500 people from governments, business, local authorities, Indigenous Peoples and civil society attended UN Climate Week in Yeosu, South Korea, in April 2026. Sessions examined how to implement commitments on emissions cuts, resilience and support for vulnerable communities.

UNFCCC cited Brazil’s Climate Investment Platform as having mobilized about US$5 billion for 18 projects and more than 23,000 local forest user groups in Nepal managing over 2.4 million hectares. These are results reported by the agency about country programmes.
