The UNFCCC secretariat said on 4 September it had organized at least 22 peer exchanges under a COP30 mandate for countries to share experience implementing their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). Events covered Latin America, the Caribbean, MENA, Asia and the Pacific, and western-central and eastern-southern Africa.

Regional sessions addressed different implementation needs: Pacific countries discussed coordination and access to finance, while a Senegal-hosted exchange focused on rural electrification. UNFCCC says the events are intended to help turn plans into financed and coordinated action.
