The UAE National Agriculture Centre met more than 150 farmers at the Liwa Majlis in Abu Dhabi’s Al Dhafra region. A 13 September report by Emirates News Agency said the meeting was intended to hear farmers’ needs and explain the centre’s programmes.

Topics included UAE Good Agricultural Practices (UAE G.A.P.) certification and integrated centres expected to provide produce distribution and logistics. The map point is an OpenStreetMap reference for Liwa town, not the exact coordinates of the venue or a farm.
