Saudi Arabia discusses a specialised finance product for organic farming

Saudi Arabia’s environment and agriculture ministry and the Agricultural Development Fund held a workshop on financing needs in organic farming. The ministry’s 11 June notice said participants considered the possibility of developing a specialised finance product for organic businesses.

The notice describes a workshop and discussion; it does not announce an approved loan, application terms or a programme that has entered into force. The scope of any future support remains unspecified unless separately announced.
