Saudi Arabia’s National Water Company has completed several sewer projects in Baljurashi, in Al-Baha Region. The Saudi Press Agency reported on October 11 that the projects cost more than SAR214 million and include a tertiary wastewater treatment plant with capacity of 6,250 cubic metres per day.

The works also comprise about 46 kilometres of sewer networks, more than 17 kilometres of main lines and two pumping stations. The company said the projects would extend service coverage and improve system reliability; it did not publish operating-performance results. The cost and capacity figures are project details reported by the company.
