Samara farm organisations harvested 8% less grain

Samara Region’s agricultural organisations had produced about 1.5 million tonnes of grain by September 1, 2026, 8% below the prior-year level. Average yield was 26.8 centners per hectare, according to Samarastat’s October 11 release. The Russian centner used in this report equals 100 kilograms.
The same release put 2025 agricultural output across all farm categories at 241.1 billion roubles, or 106.3% of the 2024 level. The figures have different reference periods; the 2026 harvest figure covers agricultural organisations only.
