Irkutsk grain harvest rose 5.6% in 2025
Irkutskstat reported 2025 results for grain and staple food production.

Irkutsk Region harvested 667,900 tonnes of grain and pulses in 2025, 5.6% more than in 2024. Average yield rose by 2.7 centners per hectare, or 14.4%, in a release Irkutskstat published on October 9. The Russian centner used in this report equals 100 kilograms.
Potato output increased 1.4% to 319,000 tonnes, while the vegetable harvest totalled 95,000 tonnes, 101.1% of the previous year’s level. The statistics office said household farms traditionally account for most of the region’s potato and vegetable harvest.
