Republic of Congo’s urban sanitation minister launched a school sanitation campaign in Brazzaville on October 3, according to the state news agency ACI. The launch involved cleaning the grounds and drains at Mayindou, Pierre Nzoko and Massamba Raphaël primary schools; the minister also handed over keys for rehabilitated latrines.
The initiative asks pupils, parents and teachers to help maintain school environments and improve sanitation facilities.
