Quebec Innovative Materials Corp. (QIMC) said on 20 October it would add a 26.8-kilometre east-west Line 5 across the Ontario portion of the Témiscamingue Graben to its seismic programme. Combined with its 36-kilometre Québec programme, the company plans approximately 63 kilometres of cross-border coverage.

QIMC said it selected a corridor where its surveys recorded the Ontario graben’s highest soil-gas hydrogen concentrations to date. Echo Seismic is to acquire the data and Earth Signal Processing is to process them. This is planned vibroseismic surveying; it is not evidence of a hydrogen accumulation or a production announcement.
