Onyx Gold reported results from the first systematic drilling at its Flipper zone, about three kilometres south of the Argus Gold System at the Munro-Croesus project, 75 kilometres east of Timmins, Ontario. The six-hole program covered 2,172 metres; the company said the drilling confirmed broad gold mineralization in sedimentary rocks.

The release highlighted hole MC26-277, which returned 0.7 grams of gold per tonne over 46.7 metres, including narrower higher-grade intervals. Onyx interprets the mineralization as part of a possible multi-kilometre structural corridor, a geological interpretation it says requires further testing. The release reports drill-core lengths; it does not establish true widths.
