Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar discussed a joint technology facility for disaster preparedness at the National Emergencies Operation Centre on 1 October. The head of the National Disaster Management Authority described the centre’s monitoring, early-warning, preparedness and coordinated-response functions.
