Mayfair Gold announced on October 1 a financing framework of up to C$310 million with Macquarie to support development of the Fenn-Gib project in Ontario. It combines a subscription agreement for a C$10 million equity investment with a non-binding term sheet for a proposed C$300 million project-finance facility.

The proposed facility could fund most of the C$450 million initial development capital in the feasibility study, but it is not a definitive loan agreement. The company said due diligence, final documentation and required approvals remain outstanding; it has not said the package has closed.
