Jordan Social Security app reaches 619,000 users

Jordan’s Social Security Corporation said its upgraded mobile app had attracted more than 619,000 users in the weeks after launch. The platform brings together more than 30 services.

The app launched in mid-September and lets insured workers, retirees and other beneficiaries check their status and complete transactions without visiting a branch. It displays services according to each user’s insurance status.

Services include pensions and insurance, voluntary subscriptions, flexible coverage, unemployment and maternity benefits. The corporation also announced a way to extend access to Jordanians abroad who lack a digital identity.
