A Jordan Post statement reported on October 9 said the Universal Postal Union's 2026 annual statistical report placed Jordan among the top 10 of 192 countries in postal digital development. It said all 10 digital dimensions were active, with a digital coverage breadth score of 100, a digital development depth score of 69.1 and a composite score of 84.5 out of 100. These are index scores reported by the postal service, not separate measures of service outcomes.

The dispatch says the UPU index assesses postal operators' digital development using measures that include active digital dimensions, coverage breadth and development depth. It does not provide the component calculations or ranking weights, so the figures here are limited to the results attributed to Jordan Post and its cited 2026 report.
