The incubator opened in Irbid on October 4. Training topics include Python programming, web development, graphic design, digital marketing and e-commerce. DOT will run the programmes.

The university said the initiative combines its academic capacity with DOT’s field experience and UNICEF’s development support. DOT Jordan’s director told Petra the organization had trained 290 people through its programmes to date; this is not a target for the new incubator.
