Irbid industrial exports rose 7.3% to USD 934.1 million in nine months

The Irbid Chamber of Industry chairman said exports reached USD 934.1 million in January–September 2026, up from USD 870.6 million a year earlier.

Irbid Chamber of Industry chairman Hani Abu Hassan told Petra on October 9 that the chamber’s exports rose 7.3% year over year to USD 934.1 million in the first nine months of 2026. They totalled USD 870.6 million in the same period of 2025. The chamber issued 12,072 certificates of origin during the nine months.

Leather and garment industries accounted for the largest reported share, at USD 823 million. Food, agriculture and livestock exports reached USD 50 million, while pharmaceuticals and medical supplies exceeded USD 26.6 million. The United States was the largest stated destination, with shipments above USD 634 million. The figures were provided by the chamber chairman to Petra.
