Türkiye’s exports reached USD 23.467 billion in August 2026, up 8.1% from the same month a year earlier, according to a Trade Ministry bulletin dated 3 September. Imports rose 10.5% to USD 28.706 billion, taking total foreign-trade volume 9.4% higher to USD 52.173 billion.

For January–August, exports totalled USD 185.006 billion and imports USD 250.791 billion. The ministry reported year-on-year increases of 4% in exports, 5.3% in imports and 4.7% in total trade volume over those eight months.

The bulletin reports merchandise trade in US dollars; services trade is tracked separately.
