Iraq’s Council of Ministers amended the decision governing how the Oil Ministry calculates and supplies fuel quantities under the electricity supply contract with Taurus Arm. A 14 October post by the Prime Minister’s Media Office, identified as the office’s official channel, said Resolution No. 403 of 2026 was amended.

The post gave the rate as “USD 32 plus 200 liters per megawatt-hour (MWh).” It did not explain how those components combine in the contract calculation, so this account does not interpret them as a single price or convert them; it reports only the stated amendment to the supply mechanism.
