The review also recorded 10,715 older people assisted with 48,756 devices under Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana during financial year 2026–27 through 27 October. These are reported programme outputs, rather than a measurement of every recipient’s long-term outcome. Officials said implementation gaps and interdepartmental coordination required continued attention.
