Hycroft reported additional drilling results from the Vortex system in Nevada on October 13. Hole H26D-6175A returned 30.49 grams per tonne of gold and 1,726.72 g/t silver over 19.6 metres from 416.5 metres downhole, including 1.7 metres grading 347.07 g/t gold and 9,526.36 g/t silver.
The company described the intercept as its highest gold-grade result in more than 40 years and the highest silver grades drilled at Vortex. It lies west and south of previously reported high-grade intercepts. Hycroft said the alteration may indicate proximity to a potential source of the Vortex system; the reported interval is a drill length, not established true width.
