High Tide Resources reported flotation results from metallurgical work on its Labrador West Iron Project on October 14. Concentrates prepared from hematite, magnetite-carbonate and goethite material contained 68.13%, 68.24% and 65.99% iron respectively, for a reported weighted average of 67.7%.

Combined silica and alumina averaged 1.0% in the concentrates. Test material came from coarse rejects from 2022 drilling; the company describes it as representing the central part of the current Inferred resource. A 2.5-tonne pilot program and subsequent pelletization and reduction tests are under way; the results do not establish commercial production or a recovery rate for the whole resource.
