GE Vernova to supply 16 turbines for ESB’s Chleansaid project

The Scottish wind project includes a 20-year service agreement.

GE Vernova announced on September 3 that it will supply 16 turbines for ESB’s Chleansaid wind project in Scotland. The company lists project capacity at 96 MW; the order was booked in the third quarter of 2026.

The agreement includes 20 years of services. Turbines will be manufactured in Germany with split-blade technology supporting transport to remote sites. This is a supply and development announcement rather than commissioning.
