G20 merchandise imports rise 6.7% in the second quarter

OECD figures measure seasonally adjusted changes in current US dollars.

G20 merchandise imports rose 6.7% and exports 5.9% in the second quarter of 2026 compared with the previous quarter, the OECD said. The calculation uses seasonally adjusted current US dollar values.

Preliminary estimates show services exports rising 3.4% and imports 2.5%. Value changes can include price and exchange-rate effects, so they should not be interpreted as equivalent growth in physical trade volumes.
