Euro area goods trade records a EUR 14.2 billion July surplus

Eurostat’s first estimates put exports at EUR 276.0 billion and imports at EUR 261.8 billion.

The euro area’s goods trade surplus with the rest of the world reached EUR 14.2 billion in July 2026, according to the 15 September release. The surplus was EUR 10.7 billion a year earlier.

Exports rose by 9.0% and imports by 7.9% year-on-year. These non-seasonally adjusted goods trade figures do not measure services trade or the overall current account.
