Freegold Limited reported results on October 15 from eight additional drill holes at its Golden Summit project near Fairbanks, Alaska. At the Dolphin area, hole GS2647 returned 213 metres grading 1.24 grams of gold per tonne, including 21 metres at 5.77 g/t and a 3.1-metre interval at 32.7 g/t. The company also reported near-surface results from another hole and drilling at the Cleary area.

Freegold said the drilling is supporting a pre-feasibility study targeted for 2027, alongside geotechnical holes, metallurgical testing and baseline work. The release cited the project's July 2025 resource estimate separately: 17.2 million ounces indicated at 1.24 g/t and 11.9 million ounces inferred at 1.04 g/t. Those resource figures are not new drill results; the reported intersections are down-hole lengths and do not establish true widths.
