Forsee Power ends FCAP investment talks and pursues financial plan
The French battery systems maker said it could not agree with FCAP on conditions for the proposed investment.

French industrial group Forsee Power said on October 9 that talks with Singapore-based FCAP Investors over a proposed investment announced in July had ended. The company said the conditions needed to complete the transaction on terms satisfactory to both parties could not be met. The July proposal contemplated a capital increase to strengthen Forsee Power’s equity base.
The company said discussions with several potential investors remain active, alongside a strategic partnership and asset-disposal program with a combined estimated amount above €20 million. Forsee Power also reported that it had already implemented €15 million in fixed-cost reductions under its RePower27 plan. The plan aims to restore profitability sustainably and prepare for a return to growth from 2027; these are company targets, not achieved results. Forsee Power supplies battery systems for commercial and industrial electric vehicles.
