Emirates said on 20 October that it will add 14 flights between Dubai and Durban across December 2026 and January 2027. The plan calls for a second daily service on 17–23 December and 2–8 January, using a three-class Boeing 777.

The added services will expand connection options through the airline’s Dubai hub. Emirates said the existing daily EK775 and EK776 flights will continue as scheduled; the 14 flights are planned future capacity, not reported traffic already carried.
